“Makeda and Raoul are a New York couple. She’s the a first generation American and her family is from the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and he’s from Guyana. They were neighbors in Queens and she had just moved back home when Raoul’s mother passed away. They met each other in a sad moment, but the love, friendship and support between their families just make them became closer. It wasn’t easy for Raoul to have her attention, as Makeda told me, but he was persistent. After a few months they met again and since then, became an inseparable couple.”
What was the inspiration for the engagement session?
“We started the love session in one of the most important places in NY, the Rockefeller Center building. Top of the Rock offers for visitor an incredible view from the city and a billion different ways to shoot. We had a fun time, with love, kisses and dance. It’s was inspiring shoot them. Their love was all around the building and I was getting very excited to click everything. The stylish look of Makeda and Raoul was beautiful! Her dress was dancing, her makeup perfect for photos and they were also very comfortable as models (btw, I really thought Raul was a professional model! Lol)After the Top of the Rock, we went on Park Avenue and some streets around. “
