“The air is crisp, and the atmosphere is filled with romance. Two have just become one as they confessed their undying love for one another … a euphoric feeling of intimacy they will cherish forever. Loved ones fill the seats as they take in the aroma of fresh roses that surround the venue. This is the feeling that Latasha Davis of Simply Perfect Events captured with her Love and Roses Styled Shoot. She created this concept with a specific goal in mind: painting the picture of love and roses in a design that exudes romance. The shoot was held at one of Atlanta’s finest venues, the Piedmont Room. When deciding on a color scheme for the shoot, Davis kept in mind the romantic atmosphere that she was hoping to create. Not only did she choose to use red, but also she decided to explore different shades of red. The red needed to be complimented with a color that would make everything pop: gold. The natural lighting of the venue bounced flawlessly off of the gold dinnerware and vases. An essential element in her design was her use of roses. She made sure to strategically place them in various areas of each table and to layer them perfectly since she used more than one shade as well as different textures. Latasha’s ravishing, yet simple concept of love and roses was a beautiful theme that any bride and groom would love to share with one another on their wedding day.”
