Since Love and Basketball is my favorite movie of all time, this is a story I just could not miss! Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City thunder NBA superstar proposed to his WNBA Minnesota Lynx guard Monica Wright.
Wright and Durant, who met in the 2006 at the McDonald’s High School All American game, have been friends for years. Both players are from the Washington, DC area.
What makes this story even more special is that Wright shares the exact same name as the female character in the Love and Basketball movie.
