In honor of Earth Week we have a great Eco- friendly styled shoot by Kishana Highgate Photography
This photo shoot was styled in eco-friendly manner, with everything from fabrics, products and party goods being environmentally friendly. The simple dress was made from a sustainable yet beautiful silk fabric. The bride’s hair and makeup were done using organic and sustainable products. No animals were harmed, and neither did any ingredients in the beauty or hair products harm our planet.
The floral arrangements were made with flowers from a local vendor, and had recycled buttons quaintly sprinkled through the bouquet. The wedding favors were made using recycled mason jars and were filled with small trees. The jars were also decorated with vintage ribbon and buttons, recycled for this great wedding favor.
The unique wedding ring was featured on an abandoned bird’s nest, and the necklace and jewelry was also uniquely vintage. The table linen for the couples’ sweetheart table was repurposed from an old curtain. Providing some whimsy and old time charm to a modern wedding. The candle vases were filled with uncooked brown rice and decorated with lace from an old dress. In face the same lace was used to decorate the Mason jar favors! The copper vases with flowers added charm to the guest tables, as did cute burlap bird napkin holders.
The invitations to this wedding were even printed on recycled paper. From the start of the wedding process to the final touches, this wedding definitely intended to be eco-friendly and use sustainable practices. The bride and groom have shown that even beautiful weddings can be unique and eco-friendly.
